All livestock purchased from and delivered by Aquariclean, Inc. is guaranteed against loss for a period of 30 days after delivery. In the event of loss, a replacement specimen of equal value will be furnished by Aquariclean, Inc. In the event of a suitable specimen being unavailable, a credit towards the purchase of a different specimen will be issued. The following terms and restrictions apply to all requests for credit or replacement:
- Aquariclean, Inc. must be given the opportunity to investigate the aquarium and filtration components before a claim is accepted.
- The aquarium filtration must be adequate to sustain the animals which you intend to keep. If your filtration system is lacking or you do not wish to make the suggested upgrades, the guarantee is considered void. Aquarium filtration systems can be approved and certified by Aquariclean, Inc. personnel only. If you are not sure if your system is adequate just ask your maintenance technician. We would be more than happy to furnish you with written documentation of our certification.
- A marine or reef aquarium must be maintained within 2 degrees of 76 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Customer neglect or abuse such as overfeeding, underfeeding, allowing pumps to run dry, etc. will void the guarantee.
- All animals in the aquarium must have been purchased from Aquariclean, Inc. to qualify for the guarantee. Adding animals purchased from another source will void the guarantee.
- Animals lost due to aggression are not covered under this guarantee. We are not able to account for an animal's uncharacteristic behavior. As a rule, we abide by experience and published research when it comes to compatibility of aquarium animals. If you are of the opinion we have made an error in choosing a particular specimen for your aquarium, a printed article or similar proof would be needed to substantiate the claim.
- Aquariclean, Inc. must be notified immediately should you experience a loss. Failure to notify Aquariclean, Inc. of the loss within 24 hours will void your claim.
- You are responsible to remove any lost livestock from the aquarium immediately. You have been provided with a net to remove any lost livestock. Failure to remove any losses from the aquarium immediately will void your claim.
- The aquarium must have received maintenance and a water change using R/O water within 30 days of the claim for the guarantee to be valid. 20% water changes must be performed a minimum of every 30 days.
- Aquariclean, Inc. is not responsible for any claims that result from a power outage that lasts longer than 3 hours.
- All lost animals must be placed in a freezer and held for inspection by Aquariclean, Inc. personnel. Failure to do so will void your claim.
- Aquariclean, Inc. is not responsible for any losses due to animals escaping the aquarium.
- Aquariclean, Inc. is not responsible for fish lost during the cycling of a new aquarium.
